Wine Not Tour

Like a Wine Tour,

without the Wine

Tour Number: 4 to 10 people
Pick Up: Adelaide
Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm
Destination: From Adelaide to the Barossa Valley

Full Itinerary

Begin your day with front door pickup anywhere in the Adelaide metro area then sit back, relax and enjoy the ride into the beautiful Barossa Valley.

During the drive please take the time to check out your tour bag. Inside you will find your itinerary including boarding times for each stop (please take note) and some tastes of selected local Barossa producers. You can use this bag to store any purchases made during the day.

Bean Addiction Coffee

First stop, Bean Addiction Coffee. This all-inclusive tour kicks off with the way any good day should, with coffee. Actually, a coffee tasting board. Including 4 different coffees of your choice, chocolate covered coffee beans and a brownie. Or if you’re not a coffee drinker choose a cup of tea from the extensive selection on display. While we’re there feel free to pop next door to Steiny’s Traditional Mettwurst. If you’re into smallgoods, these guys won’t disappoint. Free tastings are available.

Vasse Virgin @ Seppeltsfield

Now that you’ve had your caffeine fix, it’s out to Seppeltsfield for our most talked about stop. I guarantee after the day is finished, this is the place you’re most likely to talk about. Vasse Virgin is primarily a skin care company, so there will be time to enjoy that aspect, but we are headed their way for a very unique experience. Olive oil tasting. Like I said, this one is something different. Let the wonderful staff lead you down stairs at this amazing facility and guide you through a tasting that you’re sure to remember.

Relish the Barossa

From there we head off to meet Andrew at Relish The Barossa. A food processing factory that makes it’s own sauces, marinades, paste (the list goes on) as well as processing for other major players around the Barossa area. This stop is the surprise packet of the day. Enjoy a quick tour of the facility before an intimate tasting in the warehouse.

Now although this tour steers clear of the wine crowd, there is still room for a drink.

Barossa Valley Brewing

By now everyone starts to get a little thirsty and hungry. But don’t worry, the next stop has you covered. Barossa Valley Brewing is a highlight of the region and for good reason. We have the food sorted, with delicious lunch platters provided and that brings us to the drink.  Your group will be in control of the tasting here so come together, choose 4 beers and let the friendly staff do the rest. Of course, if you like what you’ve tasted there is enough time to enjoy another pint or two before we head off. There are also alcoholic choices outside of beer as well as soft drinks.

Seppeltsfield Road Distillers

To end our day, it’s a short drive to Seppeltsfield Road Gin Distillers. A four gin tasting flight is the cherry on top of this amazing itinerary. These guys are winning awards quicker than they can put them up on the wall. And for good reason. A wonderful staff member will give you a quick rundown before you’re inducted into gin heaven. Have a taste, have a chat and unwind as our day comes to an end.

Water, soft drink and lollies (if you’re good) are provided on the bus. As well as ample storage space for your take home bags and any other purchases you’ve made through the day. As we drive off into the sunset memories of the day will fill the conversation. Relax and enjoy as it all ends where it began, at your front door.
